Product description

DPSI BUS HUB

The DPSI BUS HUB is a digital bus distribution module which can feed through common sum signals. It is equipped with the connectors and can be extended if desired. The DPSI BUS HUB ensures connections of approx. ten bus servos without soldering. The servos can be connected with the HUB-2 and HUB-3 plug system or with latching Bus wing plugs and sockets to the DPSI BUS HUB.

Connections and wiring

Wing wiring

The connection to the wings is made with 12in long silicon cables with latching wing plugs. For thin wing profiles inside the wings the Bus wing plugs for 2 or 3 servos can be used. With thick wing profiles alternatively the Bus wing cable with plug can be used. Then servo connection is made with Servo SinglePorts.

Fuselage wiring

Servos inside the fuseslage's backside can be connected to a 47in integrated HUB-2 cable. Further servos can be connected with additional BUS HUB-2 or BUS HUB-3 cables.

Optional dual power supply and regulated input voltage

The DPSI BUS HUB can be operated with the listed DPSI dual power supplies:

Dual power supply with the DPSI Micro DualBat

For operating the DPSI BUS HUB with a DPSI Micro DualBat and two monitored batteries two batteries must be connected to the battery inputs "Bat.1" and "Bat.2" of the DPSI Micro DualBat. The DPSI Micro DualBat dual power supply must be connected with the "RV OUT" output to the DPSI BUS HUB input "BAT".

The listed DPSI Bicro DualBat dual power Supplies are suitable for operating the DPSI BUS HUB:

  • DPSI Mirco DualBat 5.5V/5.9V MPX-1xMPX
  • DPSI Mirco DualBat 5.9V/7.2V MPX-1xMPX

In addition to the safety-related dual power supply the DPSI Micro DualBat allows operating with a regulated input voltage of 5.5 volts, 5.9 volts or 7.2 volts. The DPSI BUS HUB can be switched on and off with the magnetic switch integrated inside the DPSI Micro DualBat.

The DPSI BUS HUB connected with the DPSI Micro DualBat is recommended for R/C models with up to approx. eight servos at a permanent current of approx. 4 ampere.

Dual power supply with the DPSI Ampere

For operating the DPSI BUS HUB with a DPSI Ampere and two monitored batteries two batteries must be connected to the battery inputs "Battery 1" and "Battery 2" of the DPSI Ampere. The DPSI Micro DualBat dual power supply must be connected with the "Vout" output to the DPSI BUS HUB input "BAT".

In addition to the safety-related dual power supply the DPSI Ampere allows switching on and off the DPSI BUS HUB with the magnetic switch integrated inside the DPSI Ampere.

If an additional voltage regulation is needed optionally the voltage regulator DPSI Voltage can be used. The DPSI Voltage must be connected to the DPSI Ampere's "Vout" and "Charge" connectors, the DPSI Voltage's "Reg. out" output must be connecetd to teh DPSI BUS HUB's "BAT" input. With the jumper "Reg. out" a regulated input voltage of 6.0 volts, 6.6 volts or 7.2 volts can be selected.
